Wow, thank you, and thank you, thank you again! There’s no direct way to do this, unfortunately, so easiest way to work around it at the moment is to buy someone an iTunes gift card and then direct them to the app page. Although I suppose you could also commandeer their device and force-install the app and then give them $30! Hahaha.
Today has been a day. This seems like a good way to cap it.
