It speaks to me in a fundamental way, the whole “knowing that inner peace can exist but having it placed just out of reach because of the bullshit caused by your own personal demons and those inhabiting others, not to mention being Of A Certain Age and knowing deep down that you’re probably way too old to live the way you do but it’s what life handed you so you have to deal as much as you can” thing. You know?
