    The answer to this question changes a LOT but over the past 48 hours it’s definitely been Faster Pussycat’s Wake Me When It’s Over, which is chock full of sleazy Aerosmith-inspired glam-blooze. If you listen hard enough a smear of lipgloss will appear in your field of vision, FACT.

    When I was best friends with Liz the Kelly Nickels partisan she hated Faster Pussycat on principle because they’d kicked him out. But I couldn’t resist their cheekiness and hookiness and Taime Downe’s yowl, which made him sound very much like a particularly irritated specimen of the animal in his band’s name. And his band pulled off the whole “we’re really into S&M” thing so much more convincing than Rihanna would 22 years on.
