    New York! I’m excited to announce the launch of Cool Date: A Night of Twitter Poetry, July 10, 9 p.m. at Cake Shop.

    It’ll be a fun night of stories, poems, and an audio-visual piece or two. There’s also a bar. And air conditioning.

    If you don’t know of them already, I highly encourage you to delve into their worlds by following them on Twitter. Their fresh voices have attracted more than 15,000 followers combined. If you are a fan of the surreal and funny, you’ll find yourself delighted to be among them.

    Please join us on July 10. With your support, this will be just the first in a series of Cool Date nights showcasing fresh voices from Twitter.

    Doors are at 9 p.m. Readings will start at 9:15.

    Cover is $7. 21+! (sorry) Please bring ID.
